Holidaybuddie.com is a real time geo location-based web and app that connects registered users to meet up at the location wherever you are at present. Holidaybuddie is a platform for friendships, dating and social meetups. Users can create a profile, search for matches, and request friendship for a meetup. Holidaybuddie shows you users online at your location and you can request a friendship with users who match your location, lifestyle, personality and interests. Once the user accepts your friendship you can message and request a meet up. Once you get an approval you can meet and interact with people at your location. 

Is Holidaybuddie free to use?

If you are 18+, you can browse Holidaybuddie.com on computers and download the app free without paying, but some functionalities may be limited. We offer both standard and premium memberships. Standard subscription is free but comes with limited features. Standard users can create profiles, browse matches, view users online at your location and send 10 free requests. Whereas premium members get additional features like unlimited messaging and profile boosts. 

How do I sign up?

Simply visit our website or download our app, then sign up using your email or phone number. Once you provide the relevant information, an OTP will be sent your email and phone. Once the OTP is confirmed, you will be logged in. 

Is my information safe on Holidaybuddie?

First and foremost, we prioritize the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information. Our advanced encryption protocols and strict data protection policies ensure that your sensitive details remain secure and inaccessible to unauthorized parties. Users can enabled with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Security to verify their identity before accessing a system, application, or account.  

How can I report or block a user?

You can report or block a user directly from their profile or messages by clicking the "Report" or "Block" button.

Can I hide my profile from certain users?

Yes, you can adjust your privacy settings to limit who can see your profile. You can also turn on/off who can see your profile – whether people in your location can see you or whether anyone on ransom too can see you. You can also disable your location when you don't wish anyone to see your profile.  

What should I do to be successful to connect and meet with people in Holidaybuddie?

Always give right info about yourself, use high-quality photos, write a genuine bio, and highlight your interests to attract like-minded people. Send friend requests to people who only match your interests. 

How does the matchmaking algorithm work?

Our algorithm is simple and does not confuse or create any unnecessary and complicated or unproved matchmaking. We simply consider your common location, interests, preferences, and interactions to suggest compatible matches. 

Can I change my profile details later?

Yes, you can update your true profile information anytime from the settings menu. If you give false information, your account will be locked and debarred. 

How do I ask or start a meetup with someone?

Simply send a friend request to people whom you like to meet and to those who have your common interests, location, likes etc. Once they accept your friend request you can either message them directly or for icebreakers feel free to like, send flowers or wink to get their attention.

Can I message people directly?

No, you cannot message people directly. First you need to send a friend request and if the person accepts your request, then you can message, say a hello and request courteously  to meet.

Are messages private?

Yes, all conversations are private and encrypted for your security.

Is Holidaybuddie a friendship or dating website?

Holidaybuddie is both a friendship and dating website. You can use it for both purposes. If you wish to find people to make friends with, then you can set your setting in your profile as "seeking friendship" and for those looking for dating can set their profile as " seeking dating". The results will show accordingly.

Can we change our profile settings from friendship to dating and likewise from dating to friendship?

Yes. You can change your settings from seeking friendship to seeking dating and also from seeking friendship to dating in your profile settings.

Can Holidaybuddie only be used only when travelling or holidaying or can it be used by everyone for making friendship, meetups and dating in general?

Holidaybuddie can be used by anyone above the age of 18 and in any location to find friends for meetups and dating.

Premium members have extra benefits and get 100 friend requests, view both standard and premium members, find people up to 250 Km, unlimited messaging, cheaper friendship boosts and other extra benefits.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime through the account settings.

How can I arrange a safe meetup?

Meetups & Safety are always your responsibility. Always meet in public places, avoid drinking alcohol with new friends and dates, inform a friend about your plans, and avoid sharing personal details too soon.
