Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms applicable to purchases made through HolidayBuddie® via our website or mobile applications.

By completing a purchase, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Types of Purchases

Purchases may be made through:

A. External Platform Purchases

Subscriptions or in-app purchases processed through third-party platforms, including:

  • Apple App Store (Apple ID / iTunes)
  • Google Play Store
  • Other authorized distribution platforms

These transactions are governed by the refund policies of the respective platform provider.

B. Direct (Internal) Purchases

Subscriptions, boosters, or other services purchased directly via HolidayBuddie.com using:

  • Credit or debit card
  • PayPal
  • Other authorized payment processors

2. General Refund Policy

Unless otherwise required by applicable law:

  • All purchases are final and non-refundable.
  • This includes subscriptions, app purchases, boosters, and additional service features.

Refunds are not provided for partially used subscription periods.

However, where required by local consumer protection laws, users may be entitled to cancellation or refund rights as outlined below.

3. Statutory Refund Rights by Jurisdiction

Certain jurisdictions provide mandatory cooling-off or cancellation rights.

European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom & Switzerland

Consumers are entitled to withdraw from a subscription purchase within 14 days of the subscription start date, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Germany

Subscribers may terminate a renewed subscription with one month’s notice following renewal, without affecting any statutory termination rights for cause.

Republic of Korea

Subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase for subscriptions or unused virtual items, as provided under local law.

Certain U.S. States & Israel

Residents of the following U.S. states:

  • Arizona
  • California
  • Colorado
  • Connecticut
  • Illinois
  • Iowa
  • Minnesota
  • New York
  • North Carolina
  • Ohio
  • Rhode Island
  • Wisconsin

may cancel their subscription without penalty within three (3) business days of purchase.

Similar statutory rights apply to residents of Israel.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

Where permitted by law:

Death of Subscriber

The subscriber’s estate may request a refund of the unused portion of an active subscription.

Disability

If a subscriber becomes medically unable to use the service, a request for refund of the unused subscription portion may be reviewed in accordance with applicable laws.

Supporting documentation may be required.

5. External Purchase Refunds

If your subscription was purchased via:

  • Apple App Store → Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple.
  • Google Play Store → Refund requests must be submitted directly to Google.

HolidayBuddie does not control or process refunds for third-party platform transactions.

6. Direct Purchase Refund Requests

For purchases made directly via HolidayBuddie.com, refund requests must be submitted to:

  • support@holidaybuddie.com

Your request must include:

  • Order number
  • Date of transaction
  • Email address associated with the account
  • Clear statement requesting cancellation or refund

Requests must be submitted using the email address associated with your account for verification purposes.

7. Review & Processing

Eligible refund requests will be reviewed in accordance with:

  • This Refund Policy
  • Applicable consumer protection laws
  • Our Terms of Service

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing timeframe.

HolidayBuddie reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not meet statutory or policy-based eligibility requirements.

Refund Policy
